Honey Oranges

Can you guess the size of these oranges?
Now?

What do you think?

And how about now?

Honey oranges is what the store calls them. Very very sweet, kids love it and so do we.

These look like what we call 'naarangi'. I do remember them growing at my uncle's house. My mother would make a wonderful piclke with them.

oo..these are called clementines here. Really small oranges, and got a nice sweet taste. They're closest to Indian oranges here. The fruits sold as oranges are more like Narangi..very very thick skin and almost impossible to peel with bare fingers...knife needed.
