Pepper the Puppy

Read through 2 books in this series by Sterling Publishers - Pepper Learns to Take the Blame & Pepper at the Table. The series focus on conflict resolutions for age group 2-6 year old.
A delightful, short dialogue based picture book (non-board book) available for Rs 30 which we read with much dramatisation and enacting.

Pepper Learns to take the Blame-
Pepper basically uses his Mamma's new hat to make a boat and also drops ink into the water tub to make the water like the blue sea. And when the Mamma asks "whodunnit" he blames it on his friends and ultimately when the friends point out that it is wrong to blame others, he is repentent. The best bit is the teaser question at the end of the book- when you push your friend in the playground and he is hurt what do you do?

Pepper at the Table
A huge Aunty Dog has come for lunch and she mentions that she could eat the entire souffle at the table. Pepper the dog is so worried that he dips his fingers err paws into the souffle and proceeds to have a good share before aunty attacks the entire dish. Mamma Dog moves in to show him some table manners.
The teaser questions says if there is 1 piece of cake between you and your friend what would you do.

What I like about the books is that it is very relevant to Ojas & Tejas- topics like brushing, tantrums, fights, too much TV, pet, eats too much cake (err..is there a book like eats far too less or makes meal times a major pain in the you-know-where?)

Good Books! I came across in Odyssey chennai, paperback fairy tales for just Rs. 28 each.

Also in pondicherry, a fair opposite beach has plywood puzzles of animals, birds, butterflies.

I think u must already be having a big collection of all these-:)
