The major items needed for the ritual-
1. The Kalash contained water having generous sprinkling of cardamom and kesar
2. The rice mixed with haldi-kumkum and spread out on a banana leaf
3. A bowl of honey to render a sweet voice
4. Books, crayons, slate, chalk- their writing instruments
